The school was established to
fulfil the educational needs of the
students in Wai on 14th June,
1965.  It was named after the
founder of Marathi Vishwakosha,
Sanskrit Pandit, the recipient of
Ratnabhushan and Padmabhushan
award, honorable Late Tarkateerth
Laxmanshastri Joshi.
Today the school is looked after by
the board of directors, the great
visionaries in the society
