Elocution Competitions
Late Sou. Satyavtibai Joshi interschool elocution competitions were conducted on 13th August 2012. She was a
wife of Hon. Tarkateertha Laxman Shastri Joshi. This completion is conducted to pay her homage and tribute on her
death anniversary every year.
This was the 32nd year of the competition. The students from Wai, Khandala & Mahabaleshwar talukas participated in
the competition.
Miss. Tambe Prena Jaywant, std- 7th stood first in junior group.
Patriot Late Abasaheb Veer interschool Elocution Competitions were conducted on 27thSeptember 2012. Around
80 students from various schools participated in the competition.
Miss. Sayali G.Gore stood second in Juniors and Miss. Rutuja S. Shinde stood fifth in seniors.
Hindi Elocution Competition: On account of Hindi day Every year Hindi Eloucation comprtition is arranged in
commemoration of popular social worker of Wai Late. Shankarao Shevade. This competition is held for senior & junior
group in Rural & Urban division. Various schools from Wai, Khandala & Mahabaleshwar tahasil participate in it.
On death anniversary of Lokmanya Tilak i.e. on1 August 2012 ,elocution competition was held. Successful
competitors were given prizes by Sou. Chaudhari.
